Mondays 4:30-5:45
Wednesdays 4:15-5:30
Saturdays 9:30-10:45

Clare Company classes include warm-ups and dance lessons focused on Irish dance posture and technique in both hard and soft shoe dancing. Hard Shoe dancing is introduced in this class! Woo!!

Clare Company dancers continue to build upon their beginner basics and learn KSID’s solo and performance choreography. Our Clare Company dancers are encouraged to participate in our holiday performance, Merry & Bright, as well as our year end showcase, The KSID Spring Recital.

Clare Company dancers may also chose to participate in Irish Dance competitions, the feis. Competing is never required!

Clare Company dancers are offered additional performance opportunities throughout the year, including our 2022 & 2024 Dancing in Disney performance.

Did you know Clare Company gets its name from the River Clare, in Ireland? Our classes are named after Irish rivers in homage to both Riverdance the Show and of course, Ireland.

TO REGISTER

All KSID policies must be read and acknowledged digitally through our online registration form. Completed registration includes: submitted registration form, payment of annual registration fee, and payment of Fall tuition.

CLASS ATTIRE

1. KSID tank or t-shirt

2. Leggings, spandex shorts, or skort
   Lads: Athletic pants or shorts

3. Optional: warm up layer
   style example: zip jacket or sweatshirt

4. Irish Dance poodle socks
   Lads: white athletic socks

5. Irish Dance soft shoes
   Lads: Irish Dance “reel shoes” or Jazz shoes
   style: approved brands only (KSID policies)

6. Irish Dance hard shoes
   style: approved brands only (KSID policies)

7. Hair tied up, off face for class

8. Reusable water bottle
   please no plastic water bottles or fast food cups

9. Shoe / Dance bag
   filled with: dance shoes, add’l poodle socks, bandaids, bobby pins, hair elastics, deodorant, & healthy snack

   TIP: remember to label all items with your dancer’s name!

ADDITIONAL CLASSES

Clare Company dancers interested in additional class time may consider any of the following class options.

1. Year-round: Join an add’l Clare Company class

2. Fall Season: Dancing in Disney Production class (open to KSID Mouse Club members only)

3. Winter Season: Merry & Bright Production class

4. Year-round: Feis Prep class (drop-in pay per class)

5. Year-round: Private Lessons (30, 45, or 60 minute lessons)
