Liffey Company dancers continue to build upon their existing soft and hard shoe training as they learn more advanced solo, Ceili, and performance choreography. Our Liffey Company dancers are encouraged to participate in our holiday performance, Merry & Bright, as well as our year end showcase, The KSID Spring Recital.

Liffey Company dancers may also chose to participate in Irish Dance competitions, the feis. However, competing is never required!

Liffey Company dancers are offered additional performance opportunities throughout the year, including our 2022 (& 2024) Dancing in Disney performance and our 2023 March Show season.

Did you know Liffey Company gets its name from the River Liffey, in Dublin, Ireland? Our classes are named after Irish rivers in homage to both Riverdance the Show and of course, Ireland.

ADDITIONAL CLASSES

Liffey Company dancers are encouraged to join both our Monday & Saturday sections of the Liffey Company dance class. Dancers interested in additional class time we recommend any of the following:

1. Fall Season: Dancing in Disney Production class

2. Fall Season: Oireachtas Trad Set class (drop-in pay per class)

3. Winter Season: Club Ceili

4. Winter Season: Merry & Bright Production class

5. Year-round: Feis Prep class (drop-in pay per class)

6. Year-round: Private Lessons (30, 45, or 60 minute lessons)

7. Year-round: Moy Company, Thursdays 6:15

TO REGISTER

All KSID policies must be read and acknowledged digitally through our online registration form. Completed registration includes: submitted registration form, payment of annual registration fee, and payment of Fall tuition. .

CLASS ATTIRE

1. KSID tank or t-shirt

2. Leggings, spandex shorts, or skort
   Lads: Black athletic pants or shorts

3. Optional: warm up layer
   style example: zip jacket or sweatshirt

4. Irish Dance poodle socks
   Lads: white athletic socks

5. IIrish Dance soft shoes
   Lads: Irish Dance “reel shoes” or Jazz shoes
   style: approved brands only (KSID policies)

6. Irish Dance hard shoes
   style: approved brands only (KSID policies)

7. Hair tied up, off face for class

8. Reusable water bottle
   please no plastic water bottles or fast food cups

9. Shoe / Dance bag
   filled with: dance shoes, add’l poodle socks, bandaids, instant ice pacs, bobby pins, hair elastics, deodorant, gaffers tape, shoe tape, shoe elastics, yoga mat, hand towel & healthy snack
